1st – 2nd Day: Larnaca – Dubai – Hanoi
Concentration at Larnaca Airport and departure with Emirates flights to Hanoi’s capital Hanoi with a stopover in Dubai. Overnight on airplane and arrival the next day. Following our entry process, pick-up from our dealers and transfer to the hotel. Hanoi has an eclectic alloy that offers something for everyone. With its wide tree-lined avenues, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and ancient oriental pagodas. In the evening we will watch an interesting show with water puppets, a unique art of representation of rural life and legends, a culture that has remained virtually unchanged in the last 1,000 years. You will be amazed when you find that those who give life to the puppets are immersed in the water. Return to the hotel. Dinner.
Day 3: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi
Breakfast and departure for Halong Bay located northeast of Hanoi. The location, due to its striking beauty, was designated in 1994 as a World Heritage Site. we will board the boat to enjoy a magnificent cruise, amidst the lush, tall rocky islands emerging from the emerald waters of the Thongin Bay. It is a unique spectacle that will be left engraved in our memory forever. We will not fail to visit the Tien Kung Cave, known as the “Cave of Heaven”. It is the largest and most impressive cave of Halong, consisting of three large rooms, exquisitely decorated with stalactites and stalagmites. During the cruise we will enjoy our meal on the seafood. Back in the afternoon at the hotel.
4th Day: Hanoi – Guided Tour – Danang – Hoi An Inland Flight
After breakfast we will begin our acquaintance with Hanoi. We will visit the Ethnology Museum with its rich exhibits, the Temple of Literature that is dedicated to Confucius and was the first University of Vietnam and the beautiful Ho Chi Minh Lake with its picturesque Huc Bridge and the old city streets. Then we will be transported to the airport where we will take our domestic flight to Danang. Arrival, transfer to Hoian hotel and room arrangement. Dinner and overnight.
5th Day: Hoian – Tour – Cruise
After breakfast we will have a tour of a wonderful city, which is next to the river. From the 16th to the 18th century, Hoian was a thriving international harbour where Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab merchants were involved, who worked on the quality and production of silk in the region. Today, it is a relaxing popular resort for tourists with eclectic architecture, skilled tailors and many cafes. In our tour we will visit, among other things, the closed Japanese Bridge, Pag Ong, Chinese Fukienese Church built in 1962 by Chinese Phuoc Kien and ending with a visit to a traditional silk workshop. Then we will board a boat to visit a nearby island where we will see a handicraft village specializing in pottery. In the afternoon free time at your disposal to relax in the idyllic landscape of the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Hoian
Breakfast and free day at your disposal to make use of it as you wish.
Day 7: Hoian – Danang – Saigon (internal flight) – Cu chi Tunnels
Breakfast and transfer to Danang Airport for a short domestic flight to the legendary Saigon. Since 1975 she has “worn” her new name, Xi Tsi Minh, and is the jewel of the country. We will start by visiting the War Museum. On the outside there are tanks, helicopters and airplanes that took part in the war, while inside the building there are information and many photographs from the years of the war. Then we will depart for the city of Cu Chi, which became known during the war due to its extensive underground tunnel network. Covering about 250 km deep at three levels, these tunnels helped Vietnamese surprise attacks on their enemies. We will visit the homonymous underground tunnels with a length of more than 200 kilometres. It was the base of Vietnam for their raids, the transport of the injured, the weapons and the food. Return to the hotel. The evening cruise and dinner on the Saigon River to admire the city enlightened. Overnight.
Day 8: Saigon – Mekong River – Saigon
Breakfast and departure to Noto, in the Mekong River Delta to enjoy a wonderful excursion. Mekong, which has its springs in the Himalayas on the Tibetan plateau, unfolds in a 4,000-kilometer length and just before it expands to the South China Sea, is divided into nine tributaries with a width of three kilometres – which the Vietnamese call “nine dragons”. We will board a boat to experience an unforgettable experience on the Ben Tre River, in a blessed plain of our planet, where everything seems to be moving casually but at different rates. Unique images. Nature “embraces” houses on piles, mud, fancy colours, buyer and seller activities, people and boats, fruits and flowers. Then we will enjoy a delicious lunch served at a local house on Binh Island. Then we will have the opportunity to walk in the streets of a traditional village and taste delicious tropical fruits and other local delicacies. After we finish we will board the boat again for return to the bus. Return to Saigon.
Day 9: Saigon – guided tour – Flight to Siem Reap
Breakfast and continue the exploration of the beautiful city beginning with a visit to the Palace, the City Cathedral and the famous Post Office, the work of the well-known Eiffel Tower. Finally, we will visit the bustling shopping market of Ben Thanh. At noon we will be taken to the airport to take the flight to the city of Cambodia Siem Reap. Arrival, pickup and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Siem Reap – Angkor – Siem Reap
After breakfast we will visit Angkor’s archaeological site built in the jungle. An unforgettable experience since the wonderful monuments of Khmer architecture are surely the most magnificent of the Asian continent. We will start from the West Gate and Temple of Angkor Tom and continue with the South Gate where we will admire the unique temple of Bayonne and the ruins of the former palace as well as the famous platforms of the elephants and the lenient King. Then we will visit the amazing Temple of Ta Prohm with its huge tree trunks climbing through the walls and literally embracing the monuments. The temple became world famous by Hollywood movies. We continue to the famous and bigger temple of Angkor Wat, built in the 12th century as the main temple and capital of the Kingdom, and since 1992 is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The temple is a symbol of Cambodia as well as the country’s main tourist attraction. We will finish our tour by visiting the Pre Rup Temple. Return to our hotel in Siem Reap. Dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh
After breakfast, we invite you to an unprecedented experience where you can take part in a private “good fortune” ceremony that will take place in a pagoda of local monks, who after the ceremony will give you a small amulet to remind you of today’s your experience. Then we will depart for the capital city of Cambodia Phnom Penh. Arrive late in the afternoon and arrange in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
12th -13th Day: Phnom Penh – Dubai – Larnaca
Breakfast. Today we will visit the majestic Royal Palace and the famous Silver Pagoda, the floor of which is made of 5,000 silver tiles weighing one kilogram each. We will continue with a visit to Toul Sling a former school that Khmer Rouge (Red Khamer) turned into a centre of interrogation and torture. Today it is a Museum to remind visitors of the terrible crimes committed by the Red Homer. We continue our guided tour to the death fields 17km south of Phnom Penh and in particular “Choeung Ek” an old Chinese cemetery that the Red Homer turned into an extermination camp with group graves. Today it is a tranquil and green place that reminds nothing of the past. After midday we will be transported to Phnom Penh Airport to take the return flight with a stopover in Dubai, full of shocking images and impressions. Arrival at Larnaca Airport around noon the following day.
– Visas for Vietnam and Cambodia are issued upon arrival and are paid directly in cash. It is about USD 25 for Vietnam and USD 30 for Cambodia.
